Options Quant > Auto Trading
Beginning January 1, 2008, until further notice, Options Quant Auto Trading Program will be available to invited investors only.
Although we believe that Options Quant trading programs are easy to trade, our Auto Trading Program allows individuals, who may be too busy to be active traders, the ability to auto trade our long-term tested trading system while passively taking part in the options market. Auto trading is not available to persons residing in any country where the provision of such services would be contrary to local law or regulation.
How does it work?
1. You can give the trading authority to a certified futures/options broker (Striker Securities or other) by signing a Letter of Direction (LOD).
2. You choose the number of contracts to trade. We recommend 4 put ratio spreads per $30,000 account equity
3. Based on our trading signal, the broker will place the trades in your trading account and will act as an attendant of the trading program.
How do you start auto-trading?
Make sure options on S&P 500 e-mini futures are "suitable" for you based on qualitative factors such as income, liquid assets, age, investment experience and objective, marital status, dependents, etc.
Complete account application forms with futures/options brokerage of your choice (new customers only).
Meet the minimum funding requirement of $100,000.
Obtain a new account number.
Complete and submit an "Auto-Trading Letter of Direction (LOD)" to your broker, provided this is not contrary to law and regulations in your jurisdiction.
• Sign and return to Quant Trading acknowledgement that you received and read Quant Trading's Disclosure Document and that you were not solicited in any way by Quant Trading, LLC in contravention of the rules or regulations in the jurisdiction in which you reside. Mail or FAX everything in and you are done. Your broker will start trading on the third Friday of the month.
• Your broker can also pay us the performance fee on your behalf. The performance fee is 20% of net profit, based on higher water mark, charged quarterly. There is no up-front fee and no management fee for the auto trading program. Please check with your broker what commission you will be charged for auto trading.
Why auto-trading?
• Never miss a trading alert. Our trading plans are simultaneously sent to your broker for placement.
You are the only one in control of your account. You choose the trading system, the number of options contracts, and start or stop your auto-trading program at any time. Your assets are liquid - money can be withdrawn at any time without fees or penalties
You can relax knowing that your trades will be processed swiftly and professionally. Enjoy life instead of monitoring a trading system.
Remove emotional barriers that may inhibit successful trading.
• Monitor your trading with your broker's reports.
Before you open an auto trading account, please contact us to request the necessary forms.
